5.1 Your Responsibilities

Before monitoring any competitor website through our Service, you must:

• Respect Robots.txt: Check and comply with the website's robots.txt file and any crawling directives or restrictions.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure your scraping activities comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and computer fraud prevention statutes.
• Rate Limiting: Use reasonable request rates and respect server capacity to avoid overwhelming target websites.
• Data Usage: Use collected data only for legitimate competitive analysis and pricing intelligence purposes.

5.2 Our Role and Limitations

• PriceSentry.io provides technology tools for price monitoring but does not provide legal advice or guarantee compliance with third-party terms of service.
• We may implement rate limiting and other technical measures to promote responsible scraping practices, but ultimate compliance responsibility rests with you.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in excessive, abusive, or legally problematic scraping activities.

5.3 Prohibited Scraping Activities

You are expressly prohibited from:

• Scraping websites that explicitly prohibit automated data collection in their terms of service
• Bypassing or circumventing technical measures designed to prevent automated access
• Collecting personal data, private information, or confidential business data
• Using scraped data for purposes beyond competitive pricing analysis
• Reselling or redistributing scraped data to third parties
• Engaging in scraping activities that could harm, disrupt, or overload target websites

5.4 Indemnification for Scraping

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PriceSentry.io, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your web scraping activities, including but not limited to violations of third-party terms of service, privacy policies, or applicable laws.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and limits. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Payments are processed automatically using your chosen payment method
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may suspend your account for non-payment
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UMAI TECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Umai Tech from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
